Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026 · Operated by: MK-Way
1. Who we are
GetVisible.store is operated by MK-Way ("we," "us," "our"). We provide a done-for-you AI Visibility Sprint that helps Shopify stores get cited by AI-Native eCommerce LLMs — including ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and others.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit getvisible.store, fill out a form, book a call, or otherwise interact with our service — and how we use, share, and protect it.
2. What we collect
We collect three categories of information:
a) Information you give us directly — when you fill out a form, request a consultation, or book a call:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name and Shopify store URL
- Anything else you choose to type into a form field, message, or call
b) Information we collect automatically — when you visit getvisible.store, our analytics, advertising, and server-side tracking tools record:
- IP address and approximate location (country/region/city)
- Device type, operating system, browser type and version
- Referring URL and pages viewed on getvisible.store
- Time spent on each page, scroll depth, clicks, and form interactions
- Anonymous identifiers (cookie IDs, advertising IDs) used to attribute visits across sessions
c) Information from third-party platforms — if you arrive via a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or Google ad, we receive limited attribution data such as which campaign and ad you clicked.
3. How we collect it (the tools we use)
We use a stack of analytics, conversion tracking, and customer-management tools. Each of these has its own privacy policy, and your data may be processed by them when you interact with our site:
- Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — Meta Platforms, Inc. We use both the in-browser Meta Pixel and server-side CAPI to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to build optimization audiences. Meta privacy policy.
- Stape — Stape.io. We use Stape as our server-side Google Tag Manager hosting provider, which forwards conversion events from your browser to Meta, Google, and our other measurement tools in a privacy-preserving server-to-server flow. Stape privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Google LLC. We use GA4 to understand traffic patterns, page performance, and conversion paths. Google privacy policy.
- Google Tag Manager (GTM) — Google LLC. GTM is the container that loads our measurement tags. It does not itself collect personal data, but it deploys the tags that do.
- GoHighLevel (GHL) — HighLevel, Inc. GHL is the customer-management system we use to store form submissions, manage your contact record, send emails or SMS messages you've opted in to receive, and schedule consultation calls. GoHighLevel privacy policy.
- Netlify — Netlify, Inc. Hosts the getvisible.store website. Netlify processes server logs (including IP addresses) for routing and security purposes. Netlify privacy policy.
If you opt out of analytics or advertising cookies (see Cookies), the tools above will be prevented from collecting your data on subsequent visits.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and consultation requests
- Deliver the GetVisible Sprint service if you become a client
- Send service-related emails (booking confirmations, project updates, invoices)
- Send marketing emails or SMS only if you've opted in (you can opt out anytime)
- Measure which of our ads, channels, and pages bring in customers, so we can spend our marketing budget responsibly
- Build optimization audiences in Meta and Google so our advertising reaches people more likely to benefit from our service
- Improve the website and the service itself based on aggregate usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention, valid government requests)
5. Advertising & conversion tracking
We run paid advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. When you click one of our ads or visit getvisible.store, we use the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and Google Ads conversion tags to measure whether your visit led to a meaningful action (a form submission, a call booking, becoming a client).
This measurement uses:
- First-party cookies set on the getvisible.store domain
- Hashed identifiers (your email and phone, irreversibly hashed) sent server-side via Conversions API for attribution
- Anonymous click IDs (fbclid, gclid) included in your URL when you arrive from a paid ad
You can limit or block this tracking via your browser settings, your Meta and Google ad preferences, and the cookie opt-out options described below.
6. Who we share information with
We do not and will not sell your personal information.
We share data only with:
- The third-party service providers listed in section 3, strictly as needed to operate our website, advertising, and customer-management workflows
- Our internal team and contractors who need access to deliver your project, all bound by confidentiality
- Legal, tax, and accounting professionals when required by law or to operate our business
- Government or regulatory bodies when compelled by valid legal process
Important SMS Compliance Disclosure:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as it remains useful for the purpose it was collected, or as long as we are legally required to:
- Form submissions and contact records: retained in GoHighLevel as long as you remain a prospect or active client, plus a reasonable follow-up window. You can request deletion anytime.
- Project records and invoices: retained for the period required by Canadian tax law (currently 6 years).
- Analytics data: aggregated data is retained indefinitely; individual-level data follows the retention windows of GA4 and Meta (typically 26 months).
8. Your rights & choices
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing emails and SMS at any time (use the unsubscribe link in any message, or email us)
- Opt out of analytics and advertising cookies
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
9. International users (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)
MK-Way operates from Canada. Our service is available worldwide and your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where our service providers (listed in section 3) operate.
If you are in Canada: our practices comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we process your data under the lawful bases of (a) consent for marketing communications and cookies, (b) legitimate interest for analytics and security, and (c) contract performance for service delivery. You have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are in California: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you rights similar to those listed in section 8, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell personal information.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information: TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our customer-management system, hashed identifiers for advertising integrations, and least-privilege access for team members. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you in line with applicable law if we ever experience a breach affecting your information.
11. Cookies
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function (form security, session handling)
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use the site
- Advertising: Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags to measure ad effectiveness and build remarketing audiences
You can control cookies via your browser settings or by opting out at:
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out
- Meta advertising: Meta Ad Preferences
12. Children's privacy
GetVisible.store is a B2B service for Shopify store owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service, the tools we use, or applicable law evolve. The "effective date" at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the website.
