What does the scan check?

It reads your store the way AI shopping assistants do: every product in your public catalog (descriptions, categories, brand, price, stock, SKUs, GTIN barcodes, images and alt text), the structured data on your product pages, and your agent channels: Storefront MCP, the Universal Commerce Protocol manifest, llms.txt, AI crawler access in robots.txt, your sitemap, and your return and shipping policies.

Is it really free?

Do I need to install an app or give access to my store?

No. The scan only reads what your storefront already shows the public, which is the same data AI assistants read. Nothing is installed and nothing in your store is changed.

How do I get my products recommended by ChatGPT?

Assistants recommend products they can read and trust: a complete description, a clear category, brand, price, stock, GTIN barcodes, good images with alt text, Product structured data on the page, and open agent channels. Your report shows which of these each product is missing, in the order that unlocks the most products first.

What are Shopify's agentic storefronts?
